In the newly introduced program “Earlier Works,” the DIAGONALE offers the opportunity for a deeper look into the cinematic work of the director who directed the opening film of the past year’s festival.  Thus the DIAGONALE 05 will show earlier work from Götz Spielmann: Fremdland (A 1984) and Spiel im Morgengrauen (A 2001). Götz Spielmanns Antares opened the festival in March 2004.

And next year we will screen works from Jörg Kalt made before this year’s opening film, “Crash Test Dummies.”
