As in past years, DIAGONALE continues to attempt in Graz an annual joining together of the Austrian film landscape’s “unadjacent corners,“ mathematically speaking.  In order to able to better gauge the diversity and vitality of this film scene in the future, in addition to the DIAGONALE festival in Graz we will produce diagonalen zum österreichischen film (diagonal lines through Austrian film).  These will be projects in the form of film, print (for the recording of discussion events), or online-publications which will lead to productive analysis of Austrian film throughout the year.
